Firstly, we would like to take this opportunity to ask if you are ok? We trust, like us, you are finding these times extremely difficult. Health is such an important part of the story behind the Aberdeen Runway Run it is important for you to know that your health is our primary concern. We are monitoring the updates very closely.  We wholeheartedly wish for you and your families the very best of health during this difficult time and the difficult times to come.

We have come to the decision of cancelling Runway Run 2020.

WHY WAS THIS DECISION MADE?

The safety of all those involved in the event is our priority. In order for us to have almost 500 people in the CHC terminal and 300 runners at the start line it, it would be irresponsible for us to allow this to go ahead. We sincerely hope you agree. 

​

CAN I HAVE A REFUND?

Every participant will receive a full refund which has already been processed. The event is such a huge event for our community, that it is with the ultimate safety of our runners, marshals and organisers in mind, that  we know it is the right decision to cancel.

WHATS NEXT?

We want to continue encouraging fitness, so get out there and go for a run, a skip or a walk. Do what ever you can to stay healthy and we look forward to seeing you next year. 

 

We will be in touch in the coming weeks and continue to offer help, support and any update on future events. We will still be running 3.5km on the 20th June, so feel free to send us your times.

We fully expect to be back in 2021.
